Hopes&dreams

A project run by Film City creating films with and for the community, in the Normanton and Pear Tree area of Derby. The project was support by the Small Change Fund, with match funding from NTI East Midlands and Film City Production Agency.

Small Change

Three films have been created - 'More than a Shopkeeper' featuring Amit Gill, 'Open Lunch' with Janine Shrigley and Anna Gautama at the Open Centre and 'Jus Flow' featuring Rukus and Derby Black Boys CAN. Short accompanying documentaries have also been made, giving insight into the themes behind the films and the people involved.
