Animationtake1The group were asked to come up with ideas for the style of animation in which their fantasy world would be created. This creates an 'image board' which an illustrator can refer to when designing characters and styles. Stories can then be sequenced in images with brief notes in a storyboard. Today we were urged to finalise our individual characters and their involvement within the short film. Although the actual storyline is undecided we felt as a group that in order to do so our characters would need developing beforehand so that we could structure the film around them effectively. 
As a group we discussed each individual character, aiding one another in developing certain aspects which proved difficult to determine i.e. appearance. We then moved on to researching the appearance of our characters. We accessed the internet to find images of objects and existing characters which relate to our ideas in a way.
